there's an extreme amount of youtube links you can use with that 11-digit system. youtube could never afford the servers to handle every single one of those videos, even if they were something like 30 seconds. either way, that probably exists for a lot of breathing room of nothing so that no one just types random numbers and letters and finds this mysterious video.
