I like Murder Mystery X a lot more because the maps are a lot more open, making it better for competitive play. The maps in Murder Mystery 2 are a lot more close-quartered and they're mostly full of corridors.
Murder Mystery 2 also lacks crucial VIP server features, such as kicking exploiters out. Murder Mystery 2 also lacks many bug fixes, pet animations and variety.
In Murder Mystery X, you can unlock everything with coins. There is no special currency which you need to purchase with Robux. Everything can be unlocked through playing the game.
TL;DR: Murder Mystery X does a better job at keeping things up to date and has a lot more to it. Also, for those of you who don't know, Jordy, the maker of Murder Mystery X, used to work for Murder Mystery 2 but left and made his own game. This made Nikilis pretty mad.

Funny you mention it, many of the game modes in MMX came from MM2 before he removed them
I prefer MMX though

It’s better than MM2, the maps are so damn good and they aren’t just corridors, plus there are more game modes and it reminds me of Mad Games and Twisted Murderer

1. MMX maps are all ripped off. If you take an closer look, you will realise that all the parts of them are specific parts from specific parts from other murder games ( If not the WHOLE map being the same paths as the ones on other murder games )
2. Yea, thats an fact, MM2 lacks many fixes for abusable stuff. But MMX is an lazy development group that rip off everything. I dont think they will be able to handle it and soonly MMX will be on an worst situation. Ill be honest here, its development team seems terrible to me, because they steal everybody else's work.
3. Not sure about that, i need to take an look on that later on.
Also, jordy pretty much betrayed Nikilis.

It had it's own originality to it while also being simple. The only advancements you really had were the knives having their own perk and a few gun skins. The maps were diverse as well.
It's a shame Nik became so cash grabby and ruined his own game with things like a trading system, radios, pets, etc. It really lost the feel MM gave off.
I understand he has competition he has to work against, but it'd be nice if fixed some of the issues with MM1 and brought it back after MM2 stabilized or implemented it like he has Assassin and Hardcore. |

Jordy is a complete fake just like all those other murder games but Murder Mystery 2 was the first and so its legit Jordy just copied Murder Mystery 2 because he is a sad ### #### and cant make up his own game idea. |
