Antegria hosts elections a few times a year. All elections will have a certain number of candidates. Each candidate will have to meet certain requirements in order to run for any elected position in Antegria.
Candidate Requirements:
All candidates must have been in Antegria for 3 weeks.
All candidates must have served in the Antegrian Admission, Army, or Guard for 2 weeks.
All candidates must be a part of a political party.
All candidates must be in the Papers Please Nations group.
Presidential Elections
The Presidential Elections in Antegria will happen every 3 months. If you are running for President, you must have someone to be your Vice President. This person must be someone you trust, not just Joe that you met last night in the park. Each election will happen after the 3 months over a 2 week period. When this time starts, that is when all candidates are allowed to begin campaigning. Campaigning is where you tell people to vote for you, host speeches, and advertise that you are running for President on the Group Wall. Excessive advertising will result in punishment. If you start campaigning before the designated time starts, you will be punished if not disqualified. If you are President and your term ends, you may run again. Each President can run up to 3 times maximum.
Prime Minister Elections
The Prime Minister Elections will work somewhat like the Presidential Elections. The Prime Minister Elections will happen every 4 months. There will be a 2 week period after those 3 months where all candidates are allowed to begin campaigning. Each candidate is able to host speeches, rallies, and advertise their campaign on the Group Wall. Excessive advertising will result in punishment. If you start campaigning before the designated time, you will Ben punished if not disqualified. The Prime Minister is not allowed to run again after his/her term is over.
The President’s Job
The President is the political leader of Antegria. The President’s job is to change things that the people want changed and to ensure that the citizens are happy. The President must talk to the Supreme Chancellor and Chancellor before making any changes. The President may host speeches and polls freely. The Vice President’s job is assigned by the President. If the President or Vice President abuse their power, disobey orders from the Supreme Chancellor or Chancellor, or disobey any rules listed here, there will be a poll to impeach the President and/or Vice President. If the President I saw impeached, the Vice President will be impeached as well. In this instance, elections will happen early. If the Vice President is impeached, the President must choose another Vice President.
The Prime Minister’s Job
The Prime Minister must make sure that the Military and all agencies are in tip-top shape. The Prime Minister may host speeches and polls freely. The Prime Minister has to talk to the Supreme Chancellor and Chancellor before making any changes. The Prime Minister may change training and recruitment policies in the military and any agency. If the Prime Minister has disobeyed any rules listed here or has abused his/her power, there will be a poll to impeach the Prime Minister. If the people vote to impeach the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister Elections will happen early.
