People started to enter the Common Room (If that's what it's called) as I put my stuff under my bed, where I keep things. |

I walk down the hall, holding my books to my chest and keeping to myself as I walk past others. I walk to Transfiguration and enter the class, getting a nod from the Professor as I sit down one of the back seats. My cat was already sitting at my desk when I entered the classroom, it was usual. I pull out my textbook and open it, reading over the chapter. |

(Ups, not bad)
I smiled. "Here's my owl description" I said as I left. I walked down the hall. I finally reached the great hall. |

Ray--
I made my way to potions, with the other 1st year Slytherins. We had it with 1st year Gryffindoor. |

Ray--
At the end of class, everyone was covered with ash, cracking up. I smiled, but didn't laugh. Some guy named Lerus had exploded his potion. |

I go to my next class, stopping in front of a window to peer out before I entered the classroom. |

"Amelia," says the Professor and I look up. "Yes?" I ask. "You can leave early today. You're not going to miss anything since you already seem to understand it," she says calmly. I nod and put my books into my bag before picking up my cat and walking out the door. I head towards the Common Room, reviewing my Transfiguration spells in my head. I enter the Common Room after having the Portrait hole open up. I set my cat down and he scampers up to the Dorms, disappearing into the room. |

I left the class alone, without talking to anyone. I finished my homework for that, and then waited for the time for my next lesson. |

"Jay!" George clapped his hand on me. "You made it in time for pine cones!" |

Ray--
I was sitting in a chgair, reading, when I girl came in. I looked up, nodded, and went back to reading. |

All the teachers were proud with me so far, saying I have potential. But, I barely even listened to them. I was studying Charms, and Professor Flitwick was looking down at everyone from his desk, studying what we were doing. |

I sit down at a table area and put my books on the table. A curse silently when a jumpy girl bounces up to me and starts to ramble how she wants to see my Patronus since she showed me hers. "I didn't ask to see yours, now did I?" I say, bitterness covering my tone. She seemed taken aback, but she didn't get the idea that I didn't like her. She continued to ramble and an imaginary black cloud forms above my head as I slump in my seat. |

I watched the girls talk about Patronus's, and I flicked my wand. A shark erupted from the tip, I smiled at them, and then the shark dissapeared. |

I saw the shark and then I sit up to see the girl's Patronus perched on the desk. It was a bluebird; extremely small compared to mine. Hers was probably like a grain of sand compared to how large my Patronus is. I chuckle when my cat pounces on the bird, making it vanish. "Hey!" shouts the girl and I glare at her while Snowfoot (my cat) growls at her. She backs off and darts up the stairs and into the Dormitory. "Bloody thick-headed girl," I mumble. |

I looked at the clock, dropped my book, nodded at the girl one last time, then walked to Charms. |

"Strange. First-years aren't normally that quiet," I say to my cat and he nods. I shrug and pull out my Transfiguration textbook and study. |

I sigh. I repeated a spell the teacher was saying. |

I wasn't taking Charms, just once a day I stop by somewhere and see what's going on inside. |

Snowfoot hops off of the table and stands in an open area. I point my wand at him and flick it slightly. There was a flash of light and Snowfoot stood proudly in his white tiger form. "At least it worked this time," I say and he nods again in response. |
