Bass started crawling through the undergrowth. His squad followed. Pulling apart some ferns, he got the biggest shock of his life. A gargantuan tree loomed before him, larger than anything he had ever seen on Earth. He could see lots of activity on it. Thousand, TENS of thousand of natives must have been living there. "Squad! Cameras out!" he commanded, pulling out a small camera. The squad began taking pictures of the tree at various zoom levels. |

Suddenly, an arrow flew through the air, pinning Bass's shirt to the ground and missing his body by a centimetre. "We should get going," he said, unfazed. The rest of the squad, however, seemed suitably worried. "Stop being such babies," he told them, before pulling the arrow out of his shirt and getting up from his prone stance. After the rest of the squad had gotten up, Bass radioed for pickup at the same place the squad had been dropped at an hour ago. |

My AVATAR was being loaded onto carefully and I grabbed a granola bar and took a bite out of it. Everyone stared at me.
"What? Im hungry." I said taking another bite out of it. |

I grabbed some clips of ammo and laughed loading bullets into them. |

Bass and his squad arrived at the LZ. No Scorpion. By now, they had attracted quite a crowd. There were arrows flying everywhere. They had already lost two men. Bass fumbled with his radio. "We're at the LZ! Where the hell are you guys?! We won't last long out here!" he yelled. Before he could continue, a stray arrow flung the radio out of his hand, breaking it. Cursing, Bass began returning fire. His squad followed suit. |

I sealed my mask, and walked toward my project. I was working on a small outpost in the Hallalujeah Mountains, it was AVATAR compatible. It was, again, small. It was a place to survive for a bit and breathe in non toxic air. Out here I was only wore my pistol. |

I made sure my mask was secured.
"Watch your backs." I said to everyone.
"And Scott." I looked at him.
"Watch out." I smirked. Then all was heard was a roar.
"Oh god. Just right we arrived." I sighed.
