When dad stepped back on the boat, I noticed a limping figure slowly heading towards us. "Maybe the owner of the port?" I questioned to dad. "Lets ask him where everyones at," Father replied back. |

Once the person got in sight, I noticed that his clothes were ripped up. "Must be a homeless man." I told my father. He replied "Stay away, he might be a mugger." He got about 20 feet away from our boat and stopped. His head slowly peeked up into my eyes, and I looked back into his. Or at least what used to be his. They were no longer there. The strange man let out a terrible hiss and started sprinting towards us. |

"I see guns" I smiled, "Cover the safe house" I ran towards the gun store. |

"Alright" I sprint towards the store. Soon enough, we were in a room full of loaded guns. |

I then said "Yes! We hit the jackpot! lets take some ammo and pistols." |

I stood as still as a statue as my father pushed me down into the deck. The "thing" collided with him, knocking him to the floor. I ran into my room and got my trench spike, then ran back up. I sprinted over to the zombie and jammed the spike through his head. It dropped to the floor, motionless. |

*Sees micheal* I then said "Alright, we can go as a group now, lets just get our suppiles from our safe house and then leave." |

I helped father up then ran to the engine room. I picked up a crowbar and ran back up. Father was pulling the boat out of the port. "No!" I yelled. "We need more supplies and fuel!" Father replied "We have to get away from here. Now. That, "thing" was dangerous and theres bound to be more of them." I knew that we didn't have much time. So I ran and jumped off the side of the boat onto the port. I hit the ground and fell. But I stood right back up. I sprinted down towards the dock-house. |
