Someone suggested this before, and their thread sunk to the bottom.
The idea is that it would be possible to upload music, but ONLY in the form of MIDI files!
This way, moderation is not a problem, because MIDIs can only have lists of tones and the instruments playing them, making speech impossible, and therefore there is no way to break rules with it.
On the note of copyright, this would be a much smaller problem considering music is not ever copyrighted as MIDIs because it doesn't store an actual recording of their music.
Meaning, in a nutshell, ALLOW music, and NOT have to worry about speech being in it, or copyright problems.

It's not about monitoring them. If you are like me and watch Roblox's OBC Cast then you would know the main reason they removed sound uploading was becuase it caused them to pay 700 dollars a month. Which is a lot of money. So they cut it from Roblox. But they did say it would be back eventually... |

MIDIs aren't big..
Those kinds of problems come from huge MP3 and Wav files, there are such compositions of MIDIs. |

I'm pretty sure I've never heard of a MIDI file being copyrighted.

this would be a great idea, and as far as file sizes go, im a game designer and i always use midis for theyre usually tiny sizes. |

Game, the fact is, since it's not a studio recording, it doesn't matter too much since it's all synthesized.
The biggest copyright claim would always be to lyrics, which MIDIs don't have.
Also, again, I am only reposting this idea, it wasn't mine originally, I just expanded upon it. |

There WAS a trojan, it was a REAL trojan, but couldn't infect people's computers due to ROBLOX's sound client.
He didn't make the trojan, his computer was evidently infected, and he was uploading music that was therefore infected.
