(let me clarify what i said earlier. the people at the fort are firing at the cannons that i ordered to stay where they were. we are going around to another part of the fort, and my distraction lets us go unnoticed. sorry if that was a little confusing. :p) |

We all rush out from the bushes, Scott carrying the flag and me with my gun out. I see one of the cannons turn to face us and i shoot near it. I hit the person manning the cannon in the head. What happens next was almost too bloody to speak of. With the fort well fortified and with cannons, and us on the ground with hidden cannons firing, it was hard to tell who was going to win. Then, one of our cannons hit the wall at the bottom. A hole was created. "OVER THERE! GET IN THROUGH THE HOLE!" I shout. we all run through the hole to meet hundreds of soldiers in the small fort, unprepared and some without a weapon, some of the slower cannon firers aiming their cannons into their own fort and firing at us. The fight has officially begun. |

I charge and impale a soldier on the end of the flag dropping it and taking out my calvary sword. |

I pull out my trusty pistol and fire into the air. "For the Union!" I shout, i then quickly fix a small knife on the end of my pistol (Like fixing a bayonet :P) and stab one confederate, then shoot the man behind him. The walls around the fort are blasted into peices by both our cannons and the confederate cannons. Chaols reigned. |

"HEAD FOR THE COMMAND CENTRE"I yell sprinting into a log house and shooting a morse code operator. |

Seeing the morse code machine, i get an idea. I listen carefully, and i hear somebody say in morse code "What's going on? Are you alright?" I tap in to the other person: "All is well, but we need to fix our machine. it's malfunctioning." I then smash the machine into bits and follow scott upstairs to find confederate generals with their guns pointed at us. "Don't move or we'll shoot." Says one general. Me and Scott freeze in our tracks. |

"You don't move or we won't shoot"I say as three soldiers walk in behind us and take aim. |

"Well, looks like this is quite a predicament." Says one confederate. Just as the confederate readies his gun to fire, a crash is heard and a cannon goes through the wall, taking out the general. Taking the opportunity, i shoot one general. "Drop your weapon." I say to the last general. He drops his pistol and i pick it up from the ground. "Lock him in whatever sort of jail this fort has." I tell to the soldiers. I look out the hole and find some confederate and union soldiers running from the fort. I shoot a confederate as he runs, and then say "why are they running?" Me and scott go downstairs and outside to find the general and our soldiers running, as well. As we look at the base, we find about ten boxes that are about to burst aflame from a tree that got on fire. Me and scott take cover behind the house.

I get on the horse as well, but as we ride out of the hole, the gunpowder explodes, making me, scott, and the horse fly high into the air. As i look down at the ground below us i look at the sky and mutter "Mercy."
The horse hits the ground first and dies. Me and scott land on the horse and, although dazed, the horse acted as a cushion. I look at the fort to find it completely destroyed.
"Well, it looks like we won't be able to use that fort, eh? let's report back to lincoln." I say, beggining to walk northwards, away from the fort. "We have a long way to walk..." |

I ready my troops for the attack. (im south leader now so ur against me. :p) As i look over my men, i know that we are defending our only way of life. This will be a glorious battle. I mount my horse, draw my sword, and lead my soldiers to the battlefeild. |

I walk slowly through my massed ranks of troops as we marched to a open plain for the battle. |

As i go down the path, i man a cannon. Although i am a captain, i'm only good with a cannon when it comes to combat. Aiming carefully, i look over the hill. once i see a union flag, i fire. the cannonball goes strait through the flag. Gunfire sounds through the small meadow.
The battle has begun. |
