They didn't die how the legends say they did-a monster, something of unspeakable horror, slain them. You are a Greek citizen, living in the medevil Greece. You and a few others are in a local bookseller's home, viewing her collection. Something doesn't seem right here, but you don't know what. In 10 minutes time, you come across a book labeled 'The Diffrence In Our Legends'. You feel amazing power when you touch this, and open it. There, you find the line between truth, and legend.

The air around me was crisp, as if someone was to attack. The trees were shaking gloomily, white spring bolossoms sometimes falling. I sat in the middle of a dense forest, meditating in these winds. A rustle came from a nearby tree, then a Woosh! sound as an arrow came speeding for me. |

Silence
I caught the arrow in mid-flight, not getting up. I heard a gasp come from the archer, and i threw it back. A body came down from the tree, arm bleeding profuseley from the arrow wound. It was a black woman about 60, with blonde hair streaked with white. She wore a brown tunic with white outlines, to match the tree. Blood stained the entire left side, and she gripped the wound, a shaking quiver on her back. I snickered and got up, and lightly cut her arm. With that, she looked at me, and i told her. (Silence uses 's when talking in someones mind.) 'You dare try and assassinate me?' |

"I was hired..." She whispered, in a weak voice. I shook my head, and drew my spear. It's horrible black metal reflected in the sunlight, and the spring air chilled. Her eyes widened and in a quick instant, and that tree splattered red, her robes dyed red. A deed done, i thought, as i climbed a tree. |
