You have to say witch one you like. It will be a tough desision beacause they are both the greatest bands of all time. I can't pick any of them beacause they both RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both are awesome bands, but I go for Van Halen.

Like Takuto said they're both good bands but I would go with Metallica.

Metallica by a hair. Though there probably wouldn't be a Metallica without Van Halen and I love the early stuff by them, Metallica is my personal favorite.
