The fire stops suddenly, and tons of the little demons rush to cover Fighter. I spin my blades, hacking down creatures, ready to kill the leader |

Suddenly Tyro appears behind the leader, picking him up by the head... |

I start slaying the monsters. |

(Ack. The bumps. They are killing me.) |

The leader squirms and screeches "Lemme go! Lemme go! I'll talk, I'll call em off! Just, lemme go!" |

I walk up to it. "Why should we?" |

"We no hurt! We only fight under threat! No kill! Not our fault! Wern't always like this!" |

I bend down low. "Can you tell me about the human tribe's cheif? He's...Fishy." I ask. |

He stopped squirming. "We once, tribe people. Black cloud come, big circle door. All close where changed! Cheif Changed too. New cheif, from nowhere came, took over, he has metal wand, shoots fire, shoots death, cheif hunt us. Little voice tell us to guard door!" |

Something clicks in the back of my brain, but I ignore it.
"Do you think we can trust him?" I ask the people around me. |

I point both my swords and form an X, around his through. "Now, show us the cheif"
"Sure, sure, no hurt, no kill! Lemme go, and goodness to you!"
Tyro drops him roughly, and he runs at surprising speed, motioning for us to follow |

He comes to a sudden halt. In front of us is a huge, black and purple rimmed portal, like a tear in the fabric of space and time, shimmering there... "we here, kept promis, no pain, chief of us coming!" |

"Alright. But, if you work ANY magic, other than to help us.." I make a fist-in-hand motion. |

"No have magic! lost magic! Magic stolen to power door!" he sqeaked "I-" He stopped. Surrounded by the other 5 leaders, came the chief. He wore a rediculously large head dress and was standing atop another pigmi-thingy. |

I make a respectful kneeling motion. |

"So, you are here to help us?" asks the cheif, sounding a lot more intelligent then the other creatures around him. |

I nod. "the other chief doesn't sound right. We need your help. I think he wants to exterminate us all." |
