Ok, so all you have to do is put an option under account called "See Arm/Leg Meshes", then have Roblox download the meshes on your coumputer if you selected "Yes".
How would this work, you ask? Well, when a new Hat is added to the catalog, a mesh for the hat is added to the database, as well as the texture. At certin times, (not sure of what times...) a local copy of the database's asset "links" (Those asset.aspx?Id###### "links") are stored on your coumputer. The database doesn't take up much memory at all, but is necessary for you to see the meshes. (and pretty much anything else, like even decals, for that matter)
So, all you need to do is make it so, at the times when the local database is created/updated, (once again, not sure of what times.) let it check the settings on your account first, and if you have the Arm/Leg mesh setting off, don't include those meshes in the local database. When the meshes arn't in the database, they don't load on your coumputer, meaning you can't see them. |

Yes but...well....I....um....zoned out? Ha...ha..he...*laughs nervously*. |

Yeah... this really isn't the place for jokes. I'm trying to explain this to the devs, (if they see it) and also to get other people's approvel, and your not really giving any feedback, just a VERY ANOYING way of saying "You don't understand". I'm looking for feedback right now, and your not helping... |
Sephiroth, I'm searching your profile but I can't find the badge that says "Epicest Idea Poster EVAR." =/ |
Still looking for feedback; Recruit not hepling...
@ Recruit
What, so I have to have the "Epicest Idea Poster EVAR" Badge to post an idia? Then again, you don't have that badge, either... =/ |
Agh, I look for different ways to compliment people. In other words, I was saying you posted an epic idea, therefore you should of gained the badge. I don't really need an explanation for liking your idea, do I? |
Oh, sorry...
That was just a little confusing, and no, you don't really need a reason for liking the idia, i'm just saying that it doesn't help when someone just says they DONT like it, but THEN they don't give a reason. |
>.< Why are my replies so confusing to understand?! I reply, then realise that my reply is too confusing!
Anyway, I mean that fir isn't helping...

@fircrest
Stay On-Topic and at least respond with something more like..."No," "I disagree," or "I agree." "LOLWUT" is really unnecessary.. |

The meshes aren't downloaded, idiot. |
@ ugg
Get your facts straight. Every picture you see on the interwebs is downloaded to your coumputer, but you probley can't even find the temp directory file that those pics are stored in, let alone the one folder out of 1,000 (or more) that the actual picture is in... |
@sephiroth
you're right...
Ok now to my answer *drumroll*
I think it would be good to have it like like that. Also if I was understanding you right then if someone wanted to they could change how they look every once and a while. |
Finaly found the location: "C:\Documents and Settings\[Owner Acc. Name]\Local Settings\Temp"
What [Owner acc. name] means is that on Windows XP Home, there is a special "admin" account that has control over the coumputer. Put that account's name where it says [Owner acc. name] in the file path. (The "Temp" file might be in a different location on your coumputer, and the file is hidden by defult, so you might need to do a little bit of searching...) |

Wow, that's a great idea! |
