I open the camera files and check. "Oh....crap" I replay, and see as the shadow uses near futurristic hacking to re-arrange the portal, and view the portal room cameras, the monsters had poured out for the past day, but then stopped suddenly. They stopped beating on the walls, and now they stood there, in complete silence.

I grin "Your ability to keep things funny is much needed here" I say, glancing at the 3 inch deep gash in his leg |

"It will be soon, infection and blood loss is gonna make that pretty ugly, you'd do well to bandage it" |

"Wait it out?" I ask hopefully. |

"No, they want us dead, I don't know why, but they do. One thing I know for sure is, One: They aren't from here, Two: They aren't acting alone, something put them here for a reason, and Three: Whatever they want, the one who sent them can't get. So, that narrows down a lot of stuff, any bets?" |
