Somebody with the authority to accept join requests would have to let you in, then you could click the No One! button.
But if somebody is still in there, the owner position shouldn't be vacant. Somebody should of snapped it up. |

The group is completely empty. As in, nobody in any rank. The owner quit in 2010 |

So TBC will allow you to become owner of an unowned request-only group? Anyone care to verify this for me? |

I haven't been able to do so, I have been trying to claim my cousin's old group and am having the same problem. It is an unowned request-only group, "The Millikan Battlers". I would like to speak to an admin or forum moderator about this. The problem is there is no one IN the group! |

I can help and explain it better:
Find a group that says No one!
And press "Join Group"
It should say "Claim to own group"
Now, I am sorry to say but if you're NBC it won't say Claim to own group.
P.S. In-order to own a group you have to be BC.

I really need to claim an old group thats really important to me if anyone could help it would be appreciated P.S No one is in the group it's completely Vacant and I have to be manually accepted into it if someone could help this would be greatly appreciated. |

Same thing.
I had a nation with 3 branches. My friend took the nation when I left it, but the 3 branches were leaderless. Some dude who for some reason hates us came and took the three branches and made it so all are pending approval, except one, which we recovered.
Now, we have two memberless branches that are request only. I e-mailed the mods asking for help; they said they cannot make it non-pending approval. This stinks.
Anyone else have an idea?

This needs to be addressed. How does having a bunch of unowned and impossible to own groups not take up space? Is there some way to claim them and if so, how? |
