(It's fine.)
Though they were still about 45 minutes away from the landing site the Autopilot had elected to begin the decent, although slowly. It lowered the starboard aileron, and used the rudder and elevons to compensate for the damaged port control. |

Luna tapped her foot, and looked at Zeke, puzzled. |
All seemed well on board now. Apart from the mental state of a few passengers, the autopilot was keeping things under control. The bad weather was abating. |

I thanked the hostess for saving my life and I slowly walked back to my seat.
As I sat down I said in a calm voice: " Well... I guess everything is going to be ok! What could go wrong now? We're SO close to the airport..." |
I sat there waiting, waiting, waiting... |

Zeke: *reads book* |
(Want to skip some time?)
The autopilot's ETA box read '2 minutes to destination'. However, No one would be able to see Heathrow down there. Just a tiny little airfield. And the runway clearly wasn't designed to hold such a heavy aircraft. |
"Hey that runways a bit small." I voiced. |
Inside a patheticaly tiny red and white checkered box, a man is sitting reading a newspaper, while listening to an MP3 player with all-encompassing headphones. He doesn't even register the roar of four jet engines attatched to a Boeing 747 until it's just a minute away. Even then, he assumes it's passing overhead. |
The landing gear is brought down by the autopilot, as it prepares to land on the pocket-sized tarmac strip. The man in the box is almost deafened by the engine's roar, but still doesn't even suspect it might be trying to land. |
Luna sat, confused what was going on. |
"I think we should get out!" I yell seeing how small it was. |
The air hostess was almost shocked into not doing anything. Then, she ran back downstairs, and shouted "ANYONE GOT A RADIO?" a few seconds later, someone held up an FM reciever. She groaned, and facepalmed. |
"Ma'am isn't there a way to get out safety before touch down?" I ask. |
"No, there isn't. Now, does ANYONE have a two way radio?" she said frantically. |

I got up from my seat and I walked over to the hostess.
I tried to calm her down because I knew no one had a radio: " Ma'am, I don't think anyone has a radio..." |
"Well, ok then." she says, and sprints back to the front of the plane, and climbs down into the hold. She begins to search frantically. |

I follow her and I help in the search.
I looked over at her and I asked: " Where is this plane going to land?!" |
"Supposed to land at Heathrow." she groans. "Damm, I should have realised when the ETA was that short..." |

The air hostess pulled up a large neon yellow bag, and searched it. Some wierd things in there, and she wondered how on earth it got past Customs. Looking through the next one, she yelped with surprise. Without warning the other woman, she jumped over her and ran for the steps. |

Zeke: This is a looong flight. |

Jumping into the cabin, the air hostess immediately ran to the windows. The airfield was perilously close. "This is Daewoo Lima 5, disengage radio beacon, repeat, disengage your beacon!" she yelled into the little radio.
In the small red and white checkered box, the man felt very uncomfortable about the engine sounds. Then, the radio starled bleeping, with a light flashing. He ripped off his headphones. "...woo Lima 5, disengage radio beacon, repea..." and he looked out of the window. Amazed by what he just saw, and realizing that if he didn't act he would be sucked into a jet engine and diced. He looked at the beacon. It was glass fronted and locked. Not enough time to find the key. Picking up his chair, he whacked the cabinet, and they glass shattered. |
