Osea and Destar formed a combined assault mech Company. Four lances. Sixteen mechs in total. All headed out to raid the enemy factory where two officers, one including Me were being held captive.

(My character is a veteran of combat, so even though his mech is only averages he is well above that)
My goliath, an old design but none the less very effective. The worst damage I'd ever had, they scratched the paint. Maybe it's because I didn't look important or powerful. (Oh, one other thing, the helfire missiles can be directed at ground targets but they lose the homing capability when they do that, and their range is shorter). Now I was guessing I'd get much worse. Much worse indeed. |

(Yes. Even the weakest light mech can take on an assault mech if behind it is the hands of a veteran)
The four lances would commence attack by dropships during nightfall. Air support of 20 aerospace fighters and 100 nightshade helicopters.

In case he mech was disabled I had brought along my old pulse rifle and combat armor. I hadn't been going into a place that worried me this much for 20 years. |
