Tinman. I will say this for the third and FINAL time.
Haiti was a NATURAL DISASTER. The oil spill was man made. We couldn't stop Haiti. But they EASILY could of stopped the oil spill by doing a good job of DOING their job. But they chose to be lousy, and thats how they deserve to be treated. I will NEVER pay somebody to help them fix a problem that the started.

what if it was something such as a mechanical problem with the ship and the oil RIG in the gulf is not a ship its a anchored platform that suddenly blew up for no found reeaon causeing the current oil deposite that was being mined to spew out its contents into the atlantic and almost reach the gulf |

all the people who say global warming doesnt exist there has been a steady increase in temperature from the 1500s to today aproxatly 2 degrees thats not much but its been causeing alot of damage |

u guys are talking about the Alaskan Oil SPill that is done. Right now is the BP Oil rig that exploded in the ocean. That is the oil that goes on now. Most animals are dying because of that. Oh and they weren't able to inspect dow nthere because it is sooo cold and there is soooo much pressure a regular man in a very good suit would freeze to death and be crushed to death. So the people weren't being lousy they weren't able to inspect. The reason it blew was because ice crystals formed on the pipe then bursted it. BP is working on plugging it. Car... Money is worthless. All it is is a special kind of paper. The amount of money on earth will never go down, it only goes up. Millions of dollars are printed a day, and all are reused. I could care less about something as common as money.
However, the number of polar bears are only going down, as with alot of animals. Stopping global warming will take millions of people to do.
Stopping the oil spill only takes BP to do.
And, as Xhyre said, BP has more then enough money to handle it themselves. |

I feel very sorry for all the sealife that will be lost and some land animals to.
Fish will be poisened from the oil
Larger fish and birds will be poisened from eating the fish
If the birds are not poisened they could go into the water and get covered in oil and drown
endangered species may die
the beaches will be covered in oil making them un-safe for wildlife
many people will also be effected especially people who make a living by fishing |

The oil is spreading because of a failure in the oil cut off preention which would activate to stop major spills but for some reason the fail safes didnt work, they have started work to plug up the oil leak and it should be contained soon and anyway like someone said they will clean it up eventually =P

Ok, what about the fact that over 50 people DIED, and, the fact that we won't have fish too eat, I mean, the only fish alive would be the fishes in the tanks, and, 2/3rd of Earth is FREKING WATER.
