Help for Can't Play or Can't Update ROBLOX

But most of the problem lies because people Uninstall roblox when using the Test server. And when this happens, roblox is not completely removed off and some files still exist like the ones in the registry. When people try to install roblox again they get errors because it doesn't completely re-install, thus leading to missing files and such. I fixed my problem by manually deleting all the files I could find that had any contact with roblox.

Hi reese! I'm not having this problem. However, earlier, my character NEVER loaded. I couldn't play ROBLOX anymore. My computer was wiped out (can't remember why) and now it's fine.

Thank you guys! I've been getting alot of help from the Roblox staff lately and I really appreciate it! I was having problems downloading, but I did pretty much what NicNac did which solved that problem, but now when I try to join a game an error message pops up saying "An unexpected error has occured and Roblox needs to quit, we're sorry!". Anything you guys can do would be great!

wahoojie, that is something I also did; and also had the problem, I figured out I had finally got my studio back. Yay! But then, I realized I didn't delete all the files that like to hide in the "Temporary" folder. (which, ironically, are permanent). This interfered with my game joining. So, in shorter terms, you might have missed some there and possible inside the registry: In the run bar, (vista search bar) type, regiedit.

I was updating once and it shut down... Did not click cancele or X, just shut down Figured out why... Enabled Java Auto Update... So ROBLOX shut down...

It says that the temporary folders are no longer in the temporary folder, and I have to locate them before I delete them...

I think I can answer this. Open Windows Task Manager(Ctrl+Alt+Del) then go to process then search for "roblox.exe" or "RobloxApp.exe" click on it then stop the process(End Process)

:D I'm so happy! I found Roblox studio, it was hidden in my computer :/ If you can't find roblox studio, press CTRL + ALt + DELETE and open up the tast manager, go to Processes and find RobloxApp, right click it and say open file location, and there it is!

I can't go in my place, i click play then it loads like usual but when it shows the Bricks:(number) Connectors:(number) it just stays at 0 then it says this game has shut down can you give me advice or tell me what i can do?

i dont even get into that mine doesnt even show if anybody is playing then it makes me run something which opens annother roblox and it still doesnt work.......but roblox studio works

Well, One thing you can do is go on to your internet browser and redownload Roblox aand it will oben a new Roblox program. Hope this helped you!
