Problem with Inserting Bricks, Models, Anything!

Everytime I try to insert a model, copy and paste a brick for something, or even Insert a brick, my screen just goes invisible and is stuck in the middle of no where, and I can only move the screen left or right, and the model is there but it's invisible. So I have to keep changing the 'View Extents' to a brick or model that's already showing up. And it happens during the middle of the game when I'm really working hard. I like to get detailed, and now I can't because I can even insert anything! :( Can someone please fix it!?

What do you mean, "goes invisible"? Can you take a screenshot to upload it as a decal? Or maybe explain which screen goes blank. The render window or your desktop window.

But you can see the skybox, That doesn't go invisible.

Can you take a screenshot of it? ( I think I had this little error before )

Sure, I'll try... Only 1 problem, How do you take screenshots? It's at the top corner of the screen for macs. But this is a Windows computer, I don't know how to take screenshots... :P

Usually, you just press the Prt Scr (Print Screen) button, then open up an image editing software (Paint, PaintNet, GIMP, Paint Shop Pro) and paste the image. Make sure to cover up personal stuff.

I don't have a Prt Scr button... I'm using a mac keyboard because I spilled hot coco on my windows one... XD Is there any other ways to get a screen shot? ...

This might not work, but try pressing SHIFT-COMMAND-4 then it will get a crosshair and you can select the part the you want to screenshot If that doesn't work I'm not sure what to do

if its windows 7 use the sniping tool
