"The Shining" by Stephen King

I'm reading it for Summer Reading, and it's actually a great book, but there is some language and some other stuff in it. Im reading 50 pages a day, but I have not yet seen the film. Has anybody read, or watched the film?

Stephen King is a really great author. I've been reading his books for a couple of years now, really great my favorites called Thinner. Anyway i never heard of The Shining I'll check it out.
