You both awake in the great tree. Where your throne room is. You may both choose a profession now to be skilled in. As in, melee, ranged, or magic. neither is stronger than the other, but it does go like this.
Melee>Ranged
Range>Magic
Magic>Melee
You should choose your profession and then go see Krielle, your general you shows you the issues who needs resolving. Thats the best first step. Or you may go to Bryony, your other general, who can give you issues on how to get more troops for your army.
Or, you may both go to a different person, and decide amongst yourself who to go to.
(But rp the convo if you do, rp together, like talk to eachother.)

Issues are brought up.
Humans corrupting elves minds with bars and drinks.
Thieves stealing from the nation.
And more.
All brought up resolution are to either,
Fortify the borders, which will cost 20 gold.
Hire a group of human fencers, (a type of swordsmanship) for 15 gold. There are 4000 of the fencers.
The elven army has 40,000 people.
Or do both of the 2 choices.
You have 120 gold in the treasury.

(Btw elves, if you lose a single elf, your nation will grow sad, as their long lifespan comes along with low birthrate. But your nation doesnt care if mercenaries, or fencers, etc, dies.)

Both are chosen. 35 gold is reduced. Leaving the treasury at 85 gold. Tax is collected every year. Tax collected is 50 gold per year.
There might be more issues now, but Bryony definetly has issues thatll help increase the soldier count.

Bryonry sees them and nodded respectfully. "Your majesty. I've found some ways to bolster our numbers. As we only have 40,000 troops. Not a lot compared to our neighbors."
"There are three groups of dwarven mercenary clans. Each one offering it's services for 10 gold each group."
"There is also a quit lot of homeless elven children running about. We can either get them an orphanage, which you can bring up with Krielle, or instead of letting them learn to be pacifists a the hands of other elves, we can bring them into the army, increasing our number of elves, as they are not pacifists yet."
"But something making our troops weaker is that recently, a group of thieves, from before you just resolved the issue in the court session, stole food from a storage area we had. Our soldiers are hungry, and sending troops to taket he food back can help us greatly."

"But you can make an orphanage for the homeless elves. Wouldn't that be more of a nice decision?" She asked. "And the dwarven mercenaries sound like a good idea, more mercenaries to die for us. Each group contains 3000 troops. So if we get all 3, then theres 9000 dwarves to die for us."

Troops available to send into battle.
9000 dwarves.
4000 human fencers.
40,000 elves.
Remember, elves die, your popularity goes down. Others die, no one cares.
