I sat sprawled across the bleachers at the castle. I had never bothered to remove them. I was looking through a VERY ridiculously old magazine. I set it down. "Interesting." I wrote some things down on a pad also in my lap. |

I let out a slow breath. "I was the daughter of a Doll Keeper house. I...was the apprentice doctor. My brother...went crazy at some point. He designed our wiper. He wanted a cure. A cure to..nobody knows. But every time I went to give him his medicine," I took a deep breath. "He would say he found the cure. He freaked with anyone other then me. And...My family thought I was useless. So they said they were sending me to the L.A Doll Keeper's house. I...told him about it. He wouldn't let me leave his pod room for another day. When I did, my family grabbed me, and wiped me. I wasn't going to be the doctor. I was going to be an Active. They just wanted me to agree to it." |
