I agree with light and gravity. We need these. We need these two a lot. ...and when you change the gravity, it should change the weight of your items, too. I've seen too many "Zero Gravity" scripts that only make it gravity like the moon but you still fall down.

Then you dont. And it is easy to make a no gravity script, but if its done with scripting, it will lag too much for big places. And these dum characters are made so that there would be a "down" direction in the universe. i want them to allow us removing that "down" direction, and make places that dont have a "up" or "down"

But items have weight and they interferes with the gravity scripts.

gravity scripts can get the weight of objects. but they need to constantly change stuff when new parts are added or something is resized or a player selects a tool wich increases or decreases his weight. A option to set gravity would cause nothing to pull stuff down, not just pull them up to decrease the effect of gravity.

How do you use your raycasting script in a gun? I like the sound of it and it would be a good addition to the game as a built in function.

in the 28'th, you could have 5 users/IP it could be higher. the point it, that the rule breakers cant keep creating new accounts. eventully, all their accounts that were used for breaking the rules are banned. oh and to use the raycasting script of mine in a gun put it in a localscript in the starterpack, add a loop to update the parts in workspace once a while, and then in the gun set the starting position and the direction of the ray and it should return a part and a position where it hit the part.

LURHVEH IDEAZ! No, seriously, I like these ideas. Mind you, some people will go, "LOLLOLOLOLOL! SPAM. [CONTENTDELETEDZZZ]" The mods and admins don't really realise how much stuff we DON'T get. The people who want hats, get new hats effectively every day. The people who want bricks, get bricks every 3 or 4 months. The people who want more control in their places, get an update after like 5 or 6 months. HOPEFULLY, they'll look at this and atleast start doing this. And Daveii, I can prove you wrong so easily. Not all this can be SCRIPTED, since SCRIPTED refers to it being able to be done with Lua. Oh, edit and delete button? I'ma make that with _LUA_ and incorporate it into an _ASPX, PHP/HTML_ forums. I hope these get done. And whoever on the front page said that the idea of making no remove limit at a low level, well, how about they make it CHANGEABLE instead of just REMOVEABLE. xD And I LOVE the idea of the lighting, since it would be so easy to make for Roblox. THey just cba. -.- And the raycasting is effectively a must-have for lots of scripts. Oh, the forum post editing and deleting is an ACTUAL must-have. It is NEEDED.

Oh, also, for the gravity, I think there should be settings like this: Gravity: Vector3.new() --Specific to each player, and its can be an actual POSITION. Type: "Position" or "Direction" --An enum. If Position, they will be pulled to the POSITION in Gravity. If Direction, they will be pulled that way. maxForce: Vector3.new() --You can pull them different ways with different strengths. =3 Like my add-on idea? =3

i support your idea of being able to edit WHERE the border is. AND they should add borders to all directions. (and ability to set some of the borders off.)

Yeah, so like the skybox there's properties of: SkyboxBk SkyboxFt SkyboxRt SkyboxLf SkyboxUp SkyboxDn Or something like that, in the border thing there are options of: BorderEnabledBk (bool) BorderEnabledFt (bool) BorderEnabledRt (bool) BorderEnabledLf (bool) BorderEnabledUp (bool) BorderEnabledDn (bool) BorderPositionBk (vector3) BorderPositionFt (vector3) BorderPositionRt (vector3) BorderPositionLf (vector3) BorderPositionUp (vector3) BorderPositionDn (vector3) Maybe it could even be a new instance, like Lighting as Border. And inside it, you can put BorderMarkers, which are parts that are right on the border, and you can attach Billboard Guis, etc. It'd be pretty useful, I think. =3

All of these suggestions are ones that would benefit ROBLOX greatly. I support all of them. Though, I have a suggestion for the FREE RESIZING idea. Instead of increments of 0.1, increments should be 0.01. Wedges can be unpredictable, and sometimes moving objects into hundredths of a stud has to be resorted to. To prevent gaps, they SHOULD be able to resize by the hundredths, not just the tenths. Those are my thoughts.
Waterlimon
#26774005Friday, June 04, 2010 5:46 PM GMT

10ths are good, as hudredththsds are impossible to see and you can resize accurately that small sizes.
