Agustus pulled back his gogles as he holstered his welding unit. Apparently the broken roll-cage on the mining buggy would have to wait. He joined a few other miners as they jogged through the flashing corridors. |

I had to give the colonists enough time to enter, but in the planet's low gravity 20 minutes could get you all the way across the whole colony and back. |

Gender: Male
Appearance: Very tall (6"8'), features are well defined, with a thin jaw line. His eyes are a dark amber color. His skin is well tanned from the blaring heat of the sun. He wears a pair of very thick work gloves, specially woven to circulate air. He wears a completely white work jumpsuit, along with his cap and mouth covering. Most of the time, he has his shades on. His hair is a naturally silver color, and is cut short at the middle of his neck. Usually, it's either frizzed out of control or slicked with sweat. He is well muscled from years of work, and barrel chested.
Job at the colony: Chief Engineer
Inventory: Shades, a white cap, a white mouth covering, a bottle of watering.
Weapons: Firm wrench, self defense plasma pistol, anything he can find around him.
Bio: A rather tough, Pete hails from the Earth, though he got to working on Salis VIII very early on in his life. He's an orphan, so they had no trouble persuading him to go. Since then, he's been a well known and respected member of the team, but is usually calm and secretive. This has earned him the nickname 'Silent Pete'. |

A bit below the surface, within the main compound, Silent Pete was hard at work. He donned his protective mask, in case of misfiring plasma from the tool, and revved up said tool. Then, he gently placed his headphones upon his head, and blasted 'Atomic Fireball: Man With the Hex'. He set to work, keeping a surprisingly sharp ear out in case of disturbances. |

The alarm reached Pete's heavily deafened ears. Immediately, he turned off the blasting music, then grabbed the smallest of the mining devices and ran to the elevator. Quickly pressing in a code, he ascended to the main deck, where he should be safe. |
