Hey I have an idea why don't you people stop saying that newbies are noobs. I'll tell you the difference.
A noob is someone who messes everything up, i.e. deleting something on a building place that took someone an incredibly long time to make, or hacking and loopkilling someone, or even spawnkilling. One who spawnkills is a noob definetely.
A newbie, or newb is very different. A newb is someone who is new to the place. That's all.
Just because someone can't talk freely doesn't mean they are noobs. They don't mess things up. They read and know the rules, unlike guests. Actually, they turn out to be nicer that most people, since they can't say mean things and swear or anything. And not all non-talkers are even newbs. Maybe they got thier account when they were eight and now they're twelve and waiting, just waiting for their b-day to come so they can actually speak to people or roblox.
And remember, one who says one is a noob when he isn't is a noob. So try avoiding calling people noobs as much as possible.
If you think that newbs are noobs then you are a very stupid person indeed.

The real definition of newbs == noobs. However, the INTERNET version of noob does NOT equal newb. It really depends which source you believe.

@anila: The GOOGLE definition of newbs and noobs are the same: new people. The INTERNET definition of noobs is DIFFERENT to newbs. Depending on which source you believe, noobs can either be new people or bad people.

Noob is the shortened term for newbie and is used in online games as a taunt for new players. Noob can also mean someone who is new to hacking and they don't know very much but try to learn.
Generally, the term "noob" is slang for "newbie" or "new guy," but in a more 21st century way. |

Yes, we know this. In some cases noob and newb are the same, as defined by Wikipedia. In internet slang, newb is newbie and noob is an idiot, essentially.
