3 halftracks and 4 trucks I counted as I peeped my head out of my own halftrack. We travelled a straight course to Caen avoiding any major roads or motorways which were always under the watchful eye of American P-47 fighter-bombers. A blockage on the country road we were travelling on lead to us taking a deadly decision to detour around it and over a river by taking a mile long stretch of motorway and drive on a bridge untouched by Allied bombings.
As we bumpted onto smooth tarmac, we gave relief as our behinds were given a short break from the unsophisticated french country roads.
Officer: Stop tendering your backsides and cover the halftrack, the Americans may have already captured the bridge!
Despite complaints from several members we reluctently pulled ourselves from the cramped space of the halftrack along with the other Panzergrenadiers and some of the Luftwaffe field elements also jumped out of their trucks and we walked beside our transports.
Time went by quickly as we marched to keep to the speed of the convoy and by no time we had covered the mile of open roadway to the bridge, relief hit us as our aching feet longed for rest.
Then we began to hear the slight drone of plane engines, knowing the fact we were in contested airspace the luftwaffe were more or less non-existing due to constant allied bombing meaning...
Trouble was coming, in the form of Guns, Bombs and Rockets. Oh my. |

The Recon came back, very scared, saw a bunch of krauts. The tower watchers,
saw 2 Tiger Tanks, 2 Panzers, and 40 German Infantry.
We got into our postions and waited. |

Than we heard rumbling. Those mines blew up 1 by 1, exploding one Panzer tank. The Germans were alarmed of a Allied defense.
So the watchers sniped the commandeer of the second panzer, no more panzers, but the turret was moving towards Harrison, so I ran and grabbed harrison and dashed towards a abandoned building, the turret shot and smoke was around us. |

The panzer tank was damaged when Private Dane was going to put a sticky grenade but it blew up in his hand.
While PFC Sands, PVT Doms, PVT Samder, and PVT Prot was going to blow the panzer up with a bazooka and a bazooka round, the panzer blew them up.
Also, PFC Tuns, PFC Pones, PFC Szend, and PVT Srop was KIA when firing at the krauts.
When SGT Johnny Crops, SGT Lambe, PFC McDonald, PFC Joey Sanderson, and
PVT James Sanderson were lost when they fell into the water under the bridge by the panzer's turret.
CPL Boy, CPL Boyers, PFC Travers, PFC Collins, and PFC Tame were killed when they shot down the panzer with a bazooka with a round, tiger tanks and krauts were still active, krauts almost fully down, tanks still complete health.
I forgot about the Colonel, I ask the americans where he was, they said he died when he was shot by a kraut.
That means I am in charge of the infantry...

Me and 2 others British airborne see a house. There are 3 Germans sleeping in there. 2 are on guard. I take out my Garand. "This is how us French fight" I say to the British. I shoot at the house. As I planned the guards ran inside for cover. Then i took out a stick of TNT. I lit it and threw it in the house. Boom |

One of the Germans jumped out of the house before it exploded. He starts shooting at us. All of a sudden gunfire erupts from all around the house. "Zis is a trap!" I shout while taking cover. 5 Germans were shooting at us now. We hid behind a small wall. A grenade popped over. |

I throw it back over the wall. It kills 3 Germans. One of the British stands up. He takes 2 bullets in the head and 5 in the chest. He drops onto the ground. |

I jump over the wall and shoot a German. The other one starts to charge at me. Luckily the other british guy shoots the German's leg and he falls. I manage to knife the german. |

I saw a pile of rubble nearby."I'm making a mad-dash."I said while I ran from the abandon building.One of the Tigers saw me running and one of it's MG-42 opened fire.One bullet hit my helmet off and another grazed my arm.Then I made it to the rubble. |

I see a small barn. We run towards it. When we get in there we find three germans sleeping. We tie them up to a pole. Out of the corner of my eye i see another german aiming at me with a gun. I duck. But his bullet hits another resistance member right in the head. Instant kill. I shoot the german in the hand and tie him to the pole too. We go to sleep.

I ran to Harrison, and lifted him off the shrapnel(I think thats how you spell) and carried him to a abandoned structure, which gave us many time and defense to aid Harrison.I told him I was going to blow the Tiger somehow,
So I ran to the ammo and picked up 4 Bazooka Rounds, but when I got back to Harrison I remember the bazooka was not there, so I than remembered that you can flame a round and smash it to the ground and it will explode.
So I took a round hit it on a ground and through it, it landed inside the tiger tank, but the krauts inside were shooting with a rifle, it almost hit Harrison and I ran up and stuck my m1a1 into the opening and fired. the kraut looked up and Master Corporal McOllens threw a molotov inside made out of, found wine and flame.
Than the other Tiger tank almost hit me, it was a 2 meters away. So I flew and hit the ground hard, and fainted...

Me: " Yes sir!!! I'm trying my best!!!" *Runs up to the plane, get ready as a jumpmaster*

I sat up and got my personal medkit.I found some Morphine and stabbed the needle into me.The pain instantly went away.I gave Pvt Chapman a signal to dash over here.He was my squad medic.He ran into the building with his medkit and started healing me. |

I stood up and ran to Harrison, I told him one mroe tiger to go.
So I charged at the tank and was shot by a kraut, he shot me in the stomach.
I suddenly fell back to a bunch of crates. and took out my pistol and started shooting the tiger tank. I shot 5 rounds, than the tank blew up, I was amazed, but my platoon blew it up. They ran to me with a medic. They healed my wounds, and I sent the general a letter when I was in a wheelchair, it said...
