-The Dragon population has been dropping terribly due to Slayers who just want money. A group of scientists have gathered a number of surviving dragons into a large facility hidden in the mountains. The Dragons have been studied, paried, and bred. The scientists are trying desperately to regain the numbers of the Dragon population. This might actually work.

Name: Erebus
Ag/e Level: Elder (Also: Ancient)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Black twisted carapace in place of skins, a worm-like head with a ridge that goes thicker as it goes down his very long neck, a neck that can open at an almost 200 degree angle, small black eyes that are connected in 'links', going along the sides of his head. The largest is slit-like, and in the very middle of the chains. The smallest is below his chin. His tongue is very long, as well as prehensile, and has two of the dots near the base. He is medium sized for a dragon. He has a wingless, quadrupedal body, with massive black talons, opposable thumbs, and a thick, yet long tail, which ends in a trident-like blade. His shoulders have two very large ridges, almost like shoulder cauldrons, and he has very large spines going down his back.
Personality: Calm, wise, level-headed, usually thinks ahead.
Bio: A rather old dragon, very very old in fact, Erebus is by no means weak. When the dragons were gathered, he resisted at first, believing it to be a trick. However, he eventually agreed. He did not mate, as he genetically has a brain smaller than a normal dragon's, but a stronger body. He is more of a Proto-dragon, incompatible (physically, at least) with a modern dragon.

I finish my paperwork and walk to my area of work. I grab my list and start marking off eggs and hatchlings. I pause when I can't find an egg. "Mary, where is Egg 27?" I ask another female worker. "Oh that one? I put it in the pen earlier." I raise an eyebrow at her and sigh before walking off towards the pen. |

I was sitting in the Pen that i had been moved to not long ago, I had no clue why i Had been moved from a Pen where I was the biggest, to where i was one of the smallest. I belived It was because all the dragons in the Other pen were to small, and the non-dragons that Controled this place thought I would crush them or something.
(are dragons seperated by age? If they are, then when i was talking about changing pens, i was talking about hatchling-Young adult)
(Also, do dragons know what the names of things are in human?) |

I walk up to the adult pen and try to spot the egg. I find it and pick it up before taking it back tot he egg room and setting it in an empty spot. The entire room felt like a sauna, but that's how it's supposed to be for the eggs to hatch right. |

I finish checking off the eggs and hatchlings and I turn the paper in before heading towards the other dragon areas. I reach the young-adult area and stand on the other side of the glass. (The dragon areas are divided with walls made of glass. The doors are also glass and are sliding doors.) I watch as the dragons move around, sleep, eat, etc... I still haven't received my notice for choosing my dragon. Suppose I haven't worked here long enough. |
