I pull up quickly, rocketing across the lake and creating jumping waves on the water. The missiles dived into the lake, one by one, following an explosion beneath the surface. The water above the explosion burst into the sky like a fountain. I sighed in relief, then landed at the lake shore, water splashing behind me. I looked around the scenery.
*Ace*
I'm not gonna stand around here all day waiting for him. I don't need his help, anyway. I scanned the fortress for anything suspicious.
I noticed a stone sticking out from the ground near the front gates. Looks like a pressure plate that might set off a trap. I grappled onto the castle wall and flew past the pressure plate, over the battlements and onto the roof. I looked around for another way in. |

I see the figure land on the opposite side of the lake. After a few moments, I realized who it was.

Adter much wandering around, I came to the realization that I was getting nowhere within the city. I was still empty on ammo and couldn't find any .38 bullets anywhere.
I was feeling lightheaded. Only then did I realise how thirsty I was. |

I frowned at the empty forest around me. It was quiet, no birds, no sound. It was..Deafening(Spelling?).
( Depends on how much they're moving around, what the weather is like, and the temperature owo As quoted from an awesome site:

In really hot weather, 120 F / 48.9 C for say and you traveled in the shade, then you could survive two days or less without water. While on the other hand, you could survive nine or so days in 80 F / 26.7 C if you traveled in the shade.. ) |

"What the..?" The thing burst out of the water, screeching a really high pitch noise. I cover my ears--well, attempt to---and look through my bag for a weapon. I guess it's some sort of red-eye..again.

"Should we try again? I think we should," I suggested. Without waiting for an answer, I yell again, "RISIKA! SHADOW. IS. LOOKING. FOR. YOU!!!!" Then I snicker. |

I had already finished the last few drops of water I was carrying. It wasn't enough. I wandered around, looking for any shops that might have anything in them.
I knew I would be dead soon. Somehow, I wasn't that concerned about it. |

I find the gun somebody had lended me and holstered it up to my shoulder. Then I put ammo in it, and shot at the monster.

"I think the voice was southwest from here," I tell Shadow. "Should we follow it?"

The bullets pierced through the monster's scales, but they healed quickly. I pulled out my chaingun and fired at the monster. The bullets quickly covered it in bullet holes, but they healed as well. "Where's a rocket launcher when you need one?"

I crashed through a window using my grapple gun and landed on marble floor. I looked around and saw artifacts encased in glass exhibits. This is probably Vlad's research collection. |

"I dunno! I hae a rope though!" I rummaged through my bag for a rope and finally got it. I then fired it and lasso'd the monster. But it wriggled free, only damaging a few scales. |

With the force and speed of the water the Monster blasted, it hit me on my leg and disinegrated half of it. "Oh thats nice. I've always wanted to have a peg-leg!" I muttered.

The monster screeched again, it's scales glistening as blades of water whipped around it. Now the Monster was surround by a whirlpool of water, as if a sheild. It squirmed and face Jet. The Monster then launched itself at Jet, clawing his face. |
