I was just on ROBLOX, working as hard as can be. I had gathered together some really neat tools, gave them each a radar feature and made sure they would only harm Zombies... and then suddenly an unexpected error occurred, and ROBLOX closed on me. There was one thing I could've done to keep myself from losing everything, but I forgot. What was that? To save. It always happens to me- I put hard work into something for, like, an hour, and I forget to constantly save. Then ROBLOX crashes on me, causing me to fall back to square one. How can we prevent this? Simple- an AutoSave feature. It wouldn't lag you in gameplay because it would only effect Roblox Studio. It would be JUST LIKE GROUP BUILD'S AUTOSAVE, except it would be saved onto your computer (if you click "yes"), given the name YOU choose (if the place you are building has not been saved yet). It would happen every 10 minutes. What good would it do? 1.Remind the user to save their work 2.Have a back-up incase ROBLOX stops working. 3.Keep people fom getting stressed about losing all their hard work. 4.Keep the user from having to constantly click the save button. The only con is that it MIGHT get a tiny bit annoying. Other than that, it's all good! Oh, and by the way, it wouldn't get laggy. You don't get lagfests from saving, so don't say it would be a lagfest. It doesn't do you any good by saying that, it just annoys the supporters.

*punches support button* my computer over-heats and shuts off its it gets too hot so yea i really nwould like to see this happen

Autosave would epically fail since it would lag up your complete computer everytime it wants to save, and it would save things you dont want to save. It would let you lose the control about what to save, and what not to. - MODO

@masterofdeathones It would lag it up? It wouldn't happen in play mode (or build mode), only in ROBLOX Studio. If it saves something you don't want, just click undo (or delete it), and click save by yourself. Without this, many people (like me) get so busy they forget to save, and then ROBLOX crashes on them. You see? And most people's computers don't get a lagfest when they save things (it only takes a few seconds), unless they have a dinosaur computer. You see? It's not as bad as you think.

well maybe there should be a reminder that comes up in the left of the screen saying "Dont forget to save your place every now and then" that way you dont need to wait for it to save (when things save it pauses the game for awhile to process the info) and also you can decide if you want to save or not (so you dont saave something you dont want to save) so how about that? I guess I half support with my idea but without my idea full support XD.

@uggmun: I assume you use the Studio? If you do, you're fine. If you use Build Mode, then yeah, you'll get infected. For those of you who haven't read the entire thing- it would offer, so you could decline the one. Oh, and Viruses do NOT spread in ROBLOX Studio (which is why I use it instead of Build Mode, other that the fact that it pwns build mode in every way), and after you save, you can undo the last thing that happened before the save (like normal saving), and then save again normally. Also, a little note that would appear in the corner could easily be ignored, so it would be ignored. But it actually offering to save for you cannot be ignored. So, clearing things up, it would inform you it is about to auto save, and would ask for permission. If you click yes, it will save your place as a RBXL file (like normal saving), but if you click no, it will not. And DarkLight, I like your idea of being able to turn it off.
