After about a 5 minute jog, I stop. "*I can smell them loud and clear, Yuthug! Hide!*" I whisper to Yuthug quickly. We find some cover at some Rockey bulging boulders. Me and Yuthug were more trusted and trained than other Grunts in the Covenant, so we knew our tactics. He were given more education and Special Ops training than others who had dreamed of it. All because of our ancestors. In about 5 minutes a band of 5 Marines came walking through. We spotted them as careless and with no leader. Because they did not become a little bit suspicious. Since the rocks were awkwardly places beside each other, I had a full sight of Yuthug. In a few hand signals, we pulled the trigger. |

We took the first Marine down in no work at all. Through the confusion, the other Marine starts Blind-Firing everywhere. A stray bullet hits my arm, making the shield glimmer and making the blue bar on a watch strapped to my wrist decrease a bit. The Marines spot this distinguishing SPARTAN Technology and start firing behind my rock. I signal Yuthug while firing my Needler blindly behind cover to shoot. Yuthug nodded as he took out a Spiker holstered on his back, with me as a temporary distraction, Yuthug shoots and kills 2 of the marines. In defeat, the other Marines start to retreat. Speaking in their tongue I learned in battles. They were saying that they had to go back and tell the others. "*Yuthug, run them down! Or we will be found!*" I say in fright. Even as a high Grunt, I still had a bit of the regular Grunt panic in myself. In Yuthug's panic aswell, we both come out and finish the 2 Marines off, while my blue bar recharges to full. |

"*Few." Says Yuthug, "*That was clo-*" He was interuptted by sniffing.
"*I smell another! HIDE!*" We both duck back into cover. |

The pelican I am in get's attacked suddenly and 20 covenant cruisers appear out of no where.
Me: BASEPLATE! THE COVENANT IS ATTACKING! GET READY!
The pelican flys back to the base but get's hit by covenant AA and crashes in the mountains. Everyone survives but the pilots are badly injured. |

As I signal Yuthug, we come out and fire, getting the shields out. I take a hit at speaking Earth tongue. "Don't move, Spartan, we know your shi-elds are down, we can kill yew. Why you here?" I ask the tall figure. Spartans weren't known to be at Reach. |

"We won't kill yew." Said Yuthug, we also learned how to speak a good amoount of Earth Tongue. "We need you to come wit us, to see Yartar, Our Sup-Sup..." Yuthug didn't know what to say. "Superior." I add in. "Now come." I say as Yuthug points his Spiker at the huge Spartan and I lead back to camp. |

Yuthug tosses it off over a small cliff. "You gun-thing so bad at fight." Yuthug said to the Spartan. "I wonder how yew stand ita." I look at the gun in agreement. We had mastered better technology long before humans were alive. |

I see the surrendering SPARTAN.
Me: Looks like someone didn't get a good grade in training...
I pull the trigger of my Sniper while aiming at the covenant soldier (Yuthug) but I hear a click. I hit my gun and it fires a round randomly and it hits the dropship that was looking for my squad.
