Probably Mike Portnoy, though there are many other drummers that I'd consider as well.

who cares about the drummer it's all about the singer and how good he is

No. The drummer is important too. Try listening to "Moonage Daydream" all the way through with ONLY David Bowie singing.

I could listen to it with just the vocals. It's still great. I liked Johnny Marr's vocals on it more though.

"Moonage Daydream" with just the vocals is great, but it's even awesomer with the epic drumming and guitars. Ooh, try listening to "All Saints" - David Bowie with only the vocals! It's an exciting song, isn't it?

Ah, one of my favorites with just the vocals. The faint but catchable vocals David Bowie uses in the song is made to impress. Try "Sound and Vision".

"Sound and Vision" would probably be terrible without the vocals. But really, most songs are significantly worse without the instruments. That's all that I'm saying.

without drums..that means...NO HEAD BANGING!! and plus drums are very importing to the song. Since i am A big slipknot fan..i would say Joey jordison lars ulrich (sorry if i spelled it wrong!!!) ..and other drummers but i forgot there names >.< oh and the rev.
