Shaun walked over to the studio. it didn't matter that he had a delayed flight, he never showed up until the middle of the show. a guy came up to him and said:
"I guess your our guy that takes the gunshots. too bad he couldent make it."
he was talking about the famous actor that had gotten sick and couldent preform.
"well, you'll do..."
the guy walked off, muttering about messed up plans. |

Shaun sat down boredly. it would be a few hours before anybody else arrived, so he had plenty of time to look around the set. |

a girl had wandered away from her parents, and was looking at the strange boy hanging from a tree.
"Is it your pet?"
shaun noticed a chipmunk was hanging off is head by holding onto his hair, copying him. |

I knocked on Lexa's dressing room door. "I'm gonna head outside and wait for you ok?" I went outside and sat oh a bench near the building that had the set and dressing rooms and everything. |

shaun jumped and slipped off the tree.
"OW! not exactly..."
shaun rubbed his head.
"are you in the new movie?"
"sort of..."
"well, my mommy says it's too scary for me. I don't think anything is too scary for me."
"really?"
shaun was sitting now, smiling.
"yep. nothing can scare me. exept for my mom, of course. she's not in the movie, is she?"
"I don't think so."
"good. dous anything scare you?"
"not that I know of..."
"something has to scare you. by the way, my name is Stephanie."
"Shaun..."
"so, do you have a big part in the movie?"
"if you count dying after being on camera for about five seconds."
she laughed.
"I count good actors that make the movie real. I'm going to be in a peter pan play, and I'm going to make it as real as possible."
"you know what? that was the first play I was in."
"who were you?"
"the neverbird..."
"I'm wendy!"
"lucky you."
"thanks."
the lady she had run away from jumped when she saw her talking with shaun.
"what did I tell you about talking to strangers, young lady?"
"yes, mother..."
"get back over here this instant!"
she walked off, winking back at him happily. |
