Yes I celebrate Mexican Independence.
Cinco De Mayo.
Therefore you must celebrate 4th of July.
|
|
|
So? But do all mexicans celebrate 4th july? |

In a way, yes.
Many go to the USA in July 4th to take advantage of the cheap prices in July 4th. |

The majority of the game is from the USA.
And the makers and workers are also working and living, probably even born there.
So it's obvious there is 4th of July gear. |
|
|
Am I saying why there is gears? No. Read carefully what I said. I said and I meant that why we need to celebrate also? There are many saying like this "Hey com let's celebrate"
It is very obvious that there is most of americans. |

libyitalia, it's not mandatory to celebrate July 4th....
It's not like you can get banned for it.
If you wanted to celebrate one of Finland's holidays, (for example) it's up to YOU to make the celebrations and make everyone in ROBLOX know why are you partying. No one said that you can't.
We Mexicans party everywhere we go. In one of our Independence Days, a news channel was broadcasting the celebration from different parts of the World. I remember the smallest group was 400 people somewhere in England. That was like 3 or 4 years ago. |
|
|
You didn't understand my point yet. I was asking these people, who is yelling and telling about 4th of July etc etc
"Why you don't celebrate it??????"
"Im not american"
"So??" |

And why do you have to take them seriously?
I would just tell them to have a Happy July 4th and tell them to go celebrate instead of spending all the day flaming people in a Internet forum. |

It's just a holiday.
People want you to join in their happiness and such. |

Dear God, my teeth ache from those words. I know they are made for the spot, and aren't said by anyone, but when I see them, I just die from the inside.
Meh, if someone talks like that, it DOESN'T MATTER what it's about. |
|
|
I am not taking it seriously. I am asking the reason. |
|
|
Well, Considering The american Revoloution was the first time Indpendence was gain from a world power to a colony, You should at least respect the holiday. Unless your British or Spanish you should have many reasons to celebrate the event which likly lead to your country's Independence. |

Why americans celebrate more 5 de Mayo than Mexico? >__>
We just celebrate September 16, which is our most important independence day.. :\ |

USA is a super power.
Finland is not.
Libya is not. |

Finland beat up on a super power...America hasn't since their rise to power after WWII. |

@LSU
I will have to disagree with you. Being a super power and not being one does not have any relevance. What actually has relevance is culture and traditions, which I'm sure Libya and Finland have. |

I would like you to tell me when did I say we should celebrate every independence day in the Earth.
Read some of the other posts I made in this thread... |

That is up to the people from those certain countries, not to us.
ROBLOX as far as I know does not forbid the celebration of foreign holidays.
If I am from Mexico (for example) it is my responsability to celebrate Mexico's Independence Day on September 15th and 16th, not the ROBLOX Staff's. |
