Theres tons of retextures/versions of the same hat. Which causes some hats to look like something completely more expensive. AND, if ROBLOX DID allow changing hat colors, you wouldnt be able to change that much, probably very small things like trims and such. |

Someone could buy a red/green/purple banded top hat (whichever is the cheapest) and recolor it to look like JJ5x5's Top Hat or the Blue Banded Top Hat. :P |

BUT! I found something that makes it a bad idea for me though..
As the above posts state, you could recolor it to look like a WAY more expensive hat, which means that people who bought the (EX:JJ5x5) would have wasted there money if they could have just recolored a BBTH or PBTH so I really do not support this. |
