I bought an electric guitar from the College store.I also bought an amp.I looked at it.It was solid white with a zebra on the belly.The zebra had rainbow colors where the black stripes should be.I chuckled and carted them up to my dorm along with my Acoustic. |

I started to tune it,then i plugged it in.Heavy riffs sounded form my room.I was covering something.My Amp screeched the sounds."Doooown,dooown,baby and the sky is falling down."I started to sing.Punk pop covers always sounded good. |

I layed down on my bed.I started experimenting with colors on a small easle. |

I heard someone playing.I smiled and continued to paint. |

I got up and got out a paint brush, painting more murals all over the walls. Once I started, I couldn't really stop. I drew tons of animals, the scrawny dogs I'd seen in alleys, painting the alley around them, too. I drew the panthers I'd seen on the TV screens at the hotel, the tigers and lions. I painted the stray cats that climbed through my window and slept cozily with me at night. The whole background was my hometown, an old decrepit city in New York with criminals and homeless people roaming the streets. |

I looked up at the walls, the alleyways and old buildings. "Uh, yeah, sure," I said, not really used to a lot of contact. Well, besides hobos asking me for cash. I almost never saw my mom because of all of her jobs. |

I lied down on my bed, thinking of the only friend I had. He was a good 5 ye.ars older than me, I had met him when I had run away from home at a.ge five. He convinced me to go back. |

I decided to test the talent around here.I talked to the office,the agreed to hold a talent show.I started posting up flyers with little strips on them.They had posed some girl as the director,she was supposed to arrive today. |

I walked out of the dorm, then saw a flyer for the talent show. I ripped it down and brought it back to the dorm, reading over it. I would totally do Grey Street. |

I started painting more murals of fish in the bathroom, completely covering the walls. There was no empty space on the walls anywhere in the dorm but the ceiling. |
