Valerie whispered something quietly to ChiChi as he chirpped in agreement. He flew towards the mothers face and starting pecking at her. |

"GAH!" Falls the the floor bleeding |

Valerie grabbed her hair as her eyes grew wide with worry. She took off her red sweater and started wrapping it around the wounded area. She began searching her bag for tweezers while ChiChi sat quietly on her shoulder.
"Phone. 911. Phone. 911" The bird repeated |

I got up and rubbed the glass out of my hair and pulled some out of my skin letting out a moan after every time. I ran outside and jumped from balcony to balcony eventually reaching the bottom floor and lading in a bush hoping no one saw me. |

Valerie pulled out some tweezers, her hand started shaking. She had never pulled out a bullet before. She took out a small knife and walked over to violet. She started to untie the sweater.
"Call 911... please... I'll... I'll do my best in the meantime" she said in a quiet voice. |
