All it does is spoil your images. Say you make a great skybox texture set, then you make it ROBLOX-Compatible.
But when you TRY it out, it clearly marks the edges of the box they are applied to. With BEATIFUL white lines, that. And the downscaling of images with no hint whatsoever of a resolution that doesn't get downscaled.
Make the making of custom skyboxes in ROBLOX, a nightmare. (Because the community is ever so helpful now!)

They should allow you to set the resolution of the image, and its cost would be determined based on that (the ones we have no would be free, a full screen resolution would cost like 1000 bux) |

I wouldn't mind submitting some 1024x1024 skyboxes, which is more than enough for a quality skybox.
With no credit to myself whatsoever, yet the current limitations restrict me from doing so. |

I like this. I have noticed that the term "skyBOX" can be rather emphasized in some people's places with custom skyboxes. I think it's time ROBLOX took the box out of skybox. It would make the game so much better. I don't know exactly how, but if it's possible, then the roblox devteam will A) know how or B) figure out how...

I only know two kinds of "SkyBoxes" --
Cubical, the classic ones with 6 sides. (The current one is one of those)
And Spherical, a "SkySphere". |

I support. If you want a decal to be high res you'll have to upload the decal as the same size as the decal box, but that is annoying...
If you don't want white lines you need to make it transparent (OR put a brick mesh into your brick, and that should take out the brick bevels). |
