It was 2020, we had upgraded modern technology, discovered new ways of power, united countrys to form new nations and even establised the first colony on Mars. Overall, our lives were made better, yet much, much worse. We dont know how it happened, it took all of us by suprise. The United Alliance of Humanity, the gverment that keeps civlization from falling apart, had developed new technology that allowed access to another dimension. Noone dared to test it, so they brought in the most vile, sickest and most dangerous human alive, Damien Hector,nicknamed Omega. He was sent into the portal.
Days later, screaming and shouting was heard in the portal. Those who were in the room at the time were subject to it. They started to fall to the floor, painfully crying and shouting. They tortured themselves, ripping of their nails and even scratching at their throats. They were found mutilated. They examined the room, and it was concluded that the doors were locked, and the scientists were only in the room with the portal. They decided to destroy the tech. They locked the lab, and blew it to pieces. Then, it happened. From the debris, shadows started to form, some became horribly disfigured monsters, others realised a deafening scream. These nightmarish creatures massacred the army there. Then, a shadow appeared. It formed into the shape of a man, still a shadow. It stood up. Then, the army of nightmarish monsters were released onto the world. Only a couple hundred survivours remained. They had to fight these beasts, and try to kill Omega, and destroy the other dimension. However, some were driven crazy by the beings, and the shadow took over their souls, turning them evil and driving them to kill their own kind.
Can it be stopped?....

I know the plot isn't that good, i tryed to give an image of nightmare creatures invading the Earth. There are many varietys of them, ill name a few below.
Horde Types
Overlords
-----------
The luitenants in the Horde. They command armys of leechers and dreamers. Overall, they are strong and fast. They are deformed creatures, with rotten knight armor. Most are named with their clan names last.
Jackals (PM first)
--------
Jackals are the right hand beasts of Omega, bringing pain and malice wherevr they go. They are respected and often lead clans of Horde. Jackals grow up to 20ft+. As the leaders of the Horde, most are found very rarely. With tremendous strength and slick agility, these beasts are to be feared.
Screamers
------------
Screamers are common in most cities, and are very energetic, yet weak. They are amazingly agile, making them tough to fight, and often play around a lot. Not only do they have razor sharp claws, but their screeches are deafening and drive men to their knees.
Dreamers
-----------
Common Grunts of Omega, they are of average strength and speed. They are easily fooled, due to their small intellect.
Jesters
---------
The scavengers f the Horde. They scavenge for chemicals and items thats can be used. They are incredibly smart, and are even capable of speaking slight English.

History/Past: Born and raised in Ireland. His brother worked for a rich hunter who and married his daughter. They moved to America. Kenny admired his brother, who always taught him to be loyal to his friends. Kenny was given his brother's old job. One day, his village was attacked. His father was killed. He hunted down and killed those who attacked the village with his father's sword. He took his mother and sister to America, when the incident occured, Kenny survived by killed the Horde with his father's sword. His mother and sister were taken.
