Brightfur padded into camp, a rabbit in her jaws. She offered it to me.
"I'm not that hungry.." I said.
"Then let's share it." She said, sitting next to me.
I sighed 'on the inside' and bent my head over to take a bite of the rabbit.
As I pulled away, eating, she bent down and let her fur brush against mine.
I shook my head. She was annoying.

I padded away after eating and rested. 'I heard your voice' Did that mean she wouldn't have done it if it was anyone else? Was I different that others?...Different that she would risk pain, her least favorite thing, to save me.
