Race Name: Xox (Pronounced 'Ox'), plural is Xoxi
Home-planet: AV-09
Appearance: The Xoxi are about a foot long, and only a foot off of ground level (if they ever touch ground). They have a hard carapace on their back, much like a lobster. Their entire body is translucent, and bio-luminescent. They glow an eerie blue, and have strange blue veins running along their back.
Their organs are kept along the bottom of the carapace. They move along by using a natural thruster, which spews an invisible fuel. Other creatures often feed off of the fuel that is left over from moving.
They have small black orbs used for seeing. These orbs use the light made by their body, then amplify it like nightvision, allowing them to see very very far. The front of their body, near the tip of the ridged carapace, acts like an Amoeba's body: It takes in food, then processes it.
They are omnivorous scavengers, that mate for life. The mates constantly travel, and hunt together unless one of them is hurt. The females glow slightly brighter, and 'regurgitate' their children after they have hatched within the mother.
Lifespan: 130
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Home-planet Description: AV-09 is a very large dust cloud, inhabited by various space-faring races. It is dominated by no one species, though many have come close. It has tons of space debris floating around, and some shredded ships from past space wars. |

Race Name: Nova, (plural: Novae)
Homeplanet: Illiadus-1
Appearance: Small creatures, about three feet tall at maximum. Upright spine. Three digits on each foot, five on each hand. Feet are webbed. Usually have one eye and a mouth with rounded teeth. Pupil of the eye is black, and the rest of the body is dark blue with yellow spots.
Lifespan: About 80 years.
Homeplanet Description: Illiadus-1 is a hot, barren wasteland. Small biospheres in which plant life flourishes have been constructed, and that is where Novae live. The planet's atmosphere is highly deteoriated, and Novae, being oxygen-breathing creatures like humans, need exo-suits to work outside the biospheres. |

A growing number of Novae are becoming part of the space-faring business, as the economy boosts and the goverment funds hundreds of projects to build space-stations and satelites. The entire planet is surrounded by a loose "ring" of space-stations, satelites, junk, and other debris orbiting the planet. |

The Xoxi find a new form of food. It is a spore, developed from a bio-luminescent plant. It drifts through the cloud, until it reaches a large enough solid form. It will then attach to the form, and begin to grow slowly. They are usually found in very large groups, called Spore pods. |

The new colony is built, with a small city and a few surrounding townships to begin with. The planet is named New Korx, and has a much more hospitable ecosystem then the original Korx. |

The Xoxi develop slightly larger feeding patches, to go along with the fact that the Spore plant is in larger quantities. |

The fleet of defensive ships is nearly complete, numbering 3,567 now. Each ship si about the size of an F-16, and is armed with missiles and a rail-gun. Attitude thrusters all over the boomerang-shaped black fighters allow for tight maneuvering at high speeds, much like atmospheric fighter airplanes. |

The Xoxi are preyed upon by a larger species, the blandly named Oyi. They are relatives of the Xoxi. They are much larger, and have primitive teeth. They glow a dull gray, relying more on a special sense that allows them to detective brainwaves and organic matter with ease. |

The ships are finished, with 2,000 sent to guard New Korx, the other 2,000 stay behind to watch over Old Korx. Not being capable of interstellar travel, the Defenders are transported on the next large colony ship bound for New Korx. |

Homeplanet; Planet Jean, EcoSystems Unlimited, Main Street, Little Rome. (Yes, they have an address of where they originated.)
Appearance: Bipedal Wolves. Usually Red Wolves.
Lifespan: 160
Homeplanet Description: Jean is a Planet in the Middle of being Terraformed by the EcoSystems Unlimited Corporation. Jean itself was an uninhabitable Planet, until it was terraformed by the Humos Sainepis (Yarlians), a close relative of Ho.mo Sapiens. The Bowman's Wolf was a project undertaken by the Yarlians to determine wether or not they could manufacture a race able to survive on the planet Pfouts, which uses Left-Handed Amino acids, not even the toughest Viruses from Earth or Yarli could survive there. Unfortunately the Bowman's Wolf project was scrapped, but Dr. Bowman, through a series of 'Clerical Errors' allowed the 14 Generation 0 Bowman's Wolves to be released to the public, sent to Families with Children to be raised. The now adult Bowman's Wolves, along with their Creator, are locked in a fierce legal battle to allow the Bowman's Wolves to survive.
