We passed onto a section of the market district that was almost empty, as it was really close to the fight. We met up with a bunch of other dropships. There were 40,000 soldiers in our group, marching down streets. Rumors spread of a human group with 10 million. Lucky guys. But we'd all meet up in the same battle so. No big deal. All 1 billion of us.
I felt the presence of someone. Ah, yes. That feeling my family gets when Rin and Len are with us. They're a legend in my family. Two blonde kids that owned a town in old times. They got whatever they wanted when they behaved. And when they turned evil, they lost it all. They were tortured to death by their own town. It was said they are reincarnated with every 60th generation of my family. I was the 60th. So if it was true, that why I heard them somtimes, and saw them. I've even talked to them before. A lot of stuff. But I could think later.
"Ten minutes to the fight!" People were shouting.

Five minutes to battle. It was over the next hill in the town. I could hear the gunshots and explosions. It sounded horrific. The screams of dieing soldiers from both sides could be heard from here.
Our tanks rolled alongside us, floating above ground actually. But still.
Walkers trodded alongside us as well. Two legged mechanical vehicles that had a square box on them, the control room, it could fire rockets and shots from it's huge autocannon on top.
Our leader had a new project in progress as well, Mechsuits. Customizied giant robots that we'd all get one of to control in a couple of years. I couldn't wait for that. We'd finally become MORE than the 3rd weakest race.
Our military did contain robotic units as well. Standard Robots, used for marching into cities for conquest were canceled in production. Yet 1 billion existed. They were being scrapped into spaceships.
Cyborgs existed. There was approximately 1 cyborg for every 300 soldiers. They were thee best out of all of us. And once my androids were made, they'd be the best.

(I know I don't have the special keys... I'm using a laptop. No Numkeys. So I just have to say Funf instead of fünf. I'm too tired to use that much Copypasta. I'm actually Irish, but I'm learning German. It's fun. Although the Trips to Germany keep being Cancelled! Which sucks! I paid over £200 for those!) |

People on speeders, motorcycle-like rides covered in automated turrets prepared to drive into the fight full speed. Tanks prepared to fire their autocannons. Walkers prepared to fire all weapons. I checked my guns.

"NOW!" We started charging over the hill.
Speeders charge over first, gunshots ringing out as their automated machine turrets fired.
Tanks went over next. Then we started charging with the walkers, the first soldiers that went over were shot to pieces by the enemy's lasers. (Yes they have the tech to use laser guns. But we dont. Get over it)
I got over and saw the streets littered with soldiers, buildings destroyed and being used as cover as well. I aimed my sniper and shot down a Nev Wark that was machinelasering down a crap load of troops. After he got shot, a stick in his skin that was part of his machine gun came out and the gun fell to pieces. It seemed if it sensed they were dead, they'd be destroyed.

I peek around a building and fire my sniper at one, missing (of course). I swear and duck out of the way as a laser bursts through the brick wall I was just standing by. I stumble around before I gain my footing and fire again, nailing one in the shoulder. Why can't I shoot right?! I yell at myself and then run to hide behind something else. |

I stayed at the back of the charge. I wasn't S.u.ic.i.d.al, I didn't have dreams of being a hero. I had dreams of living through this and returning home safely. I ran to my right, seeing an open building I could use for cover. Anything that would keep me alive I guess. |

I fired another shot from my sniper, hitting another Nev Wark that was in a building, it fell out, and landed on the ground, dead. Our allies were around fighting as well. I hid behind a building as a Nev Wark, at least these clones of Nev warks anyways, fired at me with a submachine gun.

I leap off of a building and slam the end of my gun on a Nev Wark's head. Not the brightest or smartest plan, but hey, it somewhat worked. I watch it hit the ground, dazed, and I shoot it in the head before running off. |

I climbed to the Second Floor. High enough to be safe, but low enough to jump out of without any serious damage. I hid behind a window, peeking out to fire off rounds at the Nev Warks. |

I kept behind cover. There were just a lot of lasers, nothing special about them, just lot's. But there were so many it was sui.ci.dal to charge over without better preparation. I mutter to myself "Idiot commander, trying to get us killed. You never charge OVER a hill." |

Nev Warks could take quite a few shots, especially these clones. They had good body build. But the head was an instant kill.

I dive into a building and hide under a broken window, having the barrel of my sniper sticking out. A bullet had grazed my arm when I was running, but it didn't bother me much. I figured it was one of our guys randomly firing since the others had lasers. I nail another one in the shoulder and then duck, knowing it wouldn't go down with just one shot like that. Please let it not know where I am... |

I was running low on ammo. I would have to go out into the Fray. Or would I? I walked down to the Ground floor, and tried to draw attention to myself. |
