Right now, we have trusses, they can only extend in one direction once they are stretched, and they have an interesting truss mesh along with it. So why not consider a new type of brick that acts similar to trusses, Rails, which can be way thinner, and has a different mesh. They are like plates but they can go only in a direction, and they have an optional mesh type(Railroad, Highway Railing, and so on). They act almost like trusses, except for these differences. So far, there are blocks, trusses, and wedges, and soon more bricks are going to become available. So far the admins are working really hard, trying to add new features to our building disposal. I only wanted to share a thought I had when I was in a car on the highway. Please leave a comment of support, or if not, say why you don't support. If you also would like to add a property to it, then do so, it might be good.

*Becareful kids, Radio is a flamer* @Radio Why did roblox make a wedge part? why did they make a truss? you could have used bricks to make your own wedge or truss. But they are there anyway right? Why not have rails? They aren't there so why not?

Correction. To make wedges, we'd have to CFrame very carefully, and for trusses, either put block mesh in small plate bricks, change the scale, and CFrame perfectly. We need those things.

then why not rails? they can have different mesh options like trusses, so we can cut brick count, and make it so you don't have to have a mesh download to see the railing.

You dont need to download a cylinder mesh ... if your so bothered about it make your own rail. I really dont see whats beneficial about it 99.9% of Robloxians dont even use rails ...

@leolion, not that kind of rail. I mean the kind that trains run on.

click game.Workspace.Part, click insert.object, click specialmesh, click Part.Mesh, change scale "0.5,10,0.5", click-hold Part, Tilt, successful rail. Not too hard eh? If ROBLOX should do anything with the current mesh is make OffSet possible in SpecialMesh, it already works in BlockMesh.
