I think that roblox should use nurbs type shapes ( non-rational b splines) because I think it should reduce lag, because it uses the same algoritham for every shape. On the other hand with polygons the computer has to make a calculation for every polygon. Correct me if im wrong but I think Roblox uses polygons, and switching to nurbs should make it less laggy.

The main reasons of lag is The amount of bricks in the game or if someone else on the game has a bad connection right? Correct me if I'm wrong (>SharpSter<)

sharp is ahlf right here the principal cause of lags -somkes/fire calculating tragectory -bricks postioning -script loading and running them -screen GUI "ONLY IF THEY CONTEIN TOOLS" if you want to reduce lags , you can group al other brick without special scripts or things

Yes you guys are right, but I'm not sure if the Roblox industry can do a whole lot, unless they make a condenser of some type. And so it only retrieves stuff from there main memmory banks as needed.

If you want less lag, make less bricks and meshes. But if all Roblox games were less laggier, then I would be happy. Everybody would be happy.
