Zero watched Veritas head in, not sure if he was another HERO. She unzipped her jacket and set her helmet on her motorcycle, hoping to appear as if she had buisness here. Other than spying on the Company that is.

There are several blindspots in the building, but other than that things look normal.

Veritas placed his Beretta into a concealed holster on the waist of the suit, then calmly strode in. He knew he would probably get into a bit of trouble for it, but even he got a little tired of stealth sometimes. |

Fortunetly, there are no metal detectors at the entrance. The lobby is full of chairs, tables, and people. Zero catches the blind spots and heads toward an elevator. The good thing about having normal eyesight on top of the 360 view was that she'd be able to check the blind areas anyway. |

Veritas followed Zero into the elevator. It would be rather suspicious, as she didn't know that it was Veritas. Veritas stood there in an 'official' stance, with his hands clasped together in front of him and his feet spread out, shoulder width apart. |

Zero eyed Veritas, getting very annoyed and very wary at the same time. If this was an alley, it would've been nice to know about him ahead of time. If this was Company personal, then there could be serious trouble. And wtf was he still wearing his helmet?! |

Veritas could sense and see the emotions running through Zero's face. He felt a bit guilty for getting a friend annoyed, but shrugged it off. He waited for the elevator to stop at the first floor with a blind spot, getting tenser and more nervous with every floor they went up.
He was worse than simply being blind when in the blind spot. Almost all of his senses relied on his power. He would lack sight, 'smell', AND hearing. He would be more off-balance (And deader) than a deaf man with alcohol for blood (hearing helps with keeping your balance). |

The elevator stops and Zero gets off, heading in the complete opposite direction of the blindspot. She wanted to see where the guy would go. |

Veritas stepped out of the elevator. He turned his head down the direction the blind-spot, then in the direction of Zero. He instead went straight ahead, circling around the blind-spot a few times. |

Veritas slowly reached his hand into the blind-spot, his hand shaking nervously. |

Zero slows down, watching Veritas. He seemed so familar and was still wearing the helmet. She knew only one person that ever did that...no way it could be him... |

Veritas felt that Zero was beginning to realize it was him. He snapped his head to her, and slowly nodded. |

Veritas replied with a nudge of great happiness into Zero's mind, being genuine. After so long of a lack of contact with Veritas, the feeling of the mental connection would be odd. Veritas wondered if Zero had taken another power besides his own main power, or if she had found a way to get rid of the evil eyes without getting rid of the power. |

Zero wanted to catch up with her old friend, before remembering that they were in the middle of a Compan office. "Eh...hold on a sec, I'll see if I can turn off the cloaking." She said, entering the room that was, thankfully, empty. It was filled with computers. |

Veritas calmly waited outside of the blind-spot, an imposing figure compared to how he had once appeared. While once he was slim and lean, now he was somewhere between lean and a bodybuilder(Not the grossly muscled kind, but the OBVIOUSLY muscled kind). And yet, he kept all of his speed and reflexes. |

Powers(Limit 3 if any): Telekinesis, and electrical absorption (able to absorb electricity without harm and can discharge it whenever he wants, but he works like a battery and can only store so much at one time)
Appearance: Very tall and slender. shorter Dark Hair with touches of gray. His skin is slightly tanned. Wears a long black rubber coat, black metal boots, and wears rubber gloves. The coat is unbuttoned in the middle, showing a black T-shirt and long black pants.
Personality: Has become slightly paranoid and is seen as being slightly insane thanks to an illusion he saw long ago. Knows when to fight and when not too, and tries to end them as quickly as possible. Fairly intelligent.

Bio(required): Was abandoned by his parents when he was 6, and had to fight for his own survival until he was 25. Then he was kidnapped by the company and had experiments performed on him. During one experiment there was an accident, and he recieved a major electric shock to his head. By sheer luck he survived and was given his powers. Shortly afterwards he escaped by using his telekinesis to break through a weak wall. A few years later he found himself in an abandoned mall. After exploring the surrounding area, he came across a boy named Nick, who actually was a grown man who had made the boy an illusion. Soon after Perdire met a boy named James. Together they were able to find the Heroes HQ and joined up with them. He fought with the heroes at their last stand and continued to work for them until it was disbanded. Even now he keeps watch for the companys return to power, and will possibly remain vigilent, until they day he dies. He now lives in a house that he reconstructed near the Heroes old main base.

Zero quickly walked over to one of the computers, hurridedly typing things in. It took a few minutes, but she took down the cloaking device. "Getting better at that every day." She muttered, smiling slightly. |
