I held the Shortsword by the Blade, and cast Identify on the Rune. I didn't think this was just someone writing their name on their favourite sword, but I wanted to be sure. I didn't want to send someone off with a Sword that might Explode. I can't loot the body then. |

(No, there are astral diamonds as early as edition 2. They're just crazy rare and are normally treated as a jem rather than currency. You won't have any till you're level 24 or so however. They however are not a currency in Oryn.) |
