I got a red name :3 Support, but you'll have to pay a certain amount of robux to get a different coloured name. For example, it'll start white, and you can pay 300 robux to get a different coloured name. |

I don't think its a bad idea. To be honest I also noticed this but didnt think much of it because I got purple...MY FAV COLOR!!! So it really hasnt bothered me. Its not really a big change and i think it could work. Paying to change the color of your name isnt like other crazy suggestions. You have my full support ;)

If you have custom colors there is like 2-0% chance of having the same color as someone else. And don't you think having the same color name for a long time (maybe even years) is dull. If you can change your color than it would be switching things up instead of the same color you've had for years now. I don't know how you're looking at this but I see this a great suggestion

The system for setting player name color would need to be remade for this, since the chat colors are determined using usernames. The color changes whenever you change your name. I'm neither going support or not, but here's the system for the chat color made into I script (I got most of this from the wiki):
