There could be so many ways to make this out of a brick, but if Roblox created water that actually FLOWED! I mean, if you have a hole in a ship for example, the water will come into the ship. And splashes... |
There is some like that, like the one where you jump in the pool
and it splashes! |

Could be abused for blood so NO |
Lol, people use flying red bricks as blood... |
@TaslemGuy: They've got flowing water on MC. Why not on ROBLOX?
~Awright, who gave the zombie the TNT?~ |
@All the people who are saying "Impossible": Then HOW COME THEY HAVE FLOWING, REALISTIC WATER AND!!! LAVA ON M.i.n.e.c.r.a.f.t which has been in development by less people for less time than this has?
~Awright, who gave the zombie the TNT?~ |

Because they're water is simpler then the demand from Roblox |

it is scriptable...i can do it...i just dont want to >:) |
It is impossible to script with Lua.
This would create massive lag causing you to leave the server every 5 seconds.
Oh and The 'effect' is possible Its very easy but still causes lag |
Of course just having a non moving "zone" of water that let's you swim could easily be possible. Pixel shading could make ripples or waves. However this would come with a serious hit to performance. |
There is no point... people script that. Can we script fire? NO! Can we script REAL water? No. |
Scripting water that can work universally will not happen. I don't know of any engines that have done it in 3d...
That said, if you learn how to script, you can fake real flowing water by moving parts around. |
Epic lag + not good. Did people fake fire? I think not. Fire doesnt cause lag. |
We dont have real water... We have bricks. With scripts. I mean like Insert-Object-Water... |

It's possible. Why do I say that?
Have you ever seen the original Halo for PC?
A few of the levels have water of some sort. Now it may be just an animated 2D plane.. But it's better than what we have now. And since Halo can run on the same system specs, and Halo came out long before ROBLOX, then the admins would be able to make even better water than Halo in notime. That is, if course, if they put half as much effort into making water as they do hats.. |

i honestly cant imagine howroblox water would look like, it just doesnt fit in roblox |

I can image a Bucket, and when you tip it over, water spills over the baseplate and goes through. |

"@pugzy,
Learn how to script before replying "Script it.""
