No, it doesn't actually play the game. It's basically an app that does (almost) everything the website already does, only on a smaller screen. You can change your character, use the forums, update your place description, chat or PM other users and buy from the catalog. It would also work just to make a mobile version of the website for all mobile phones...or both, the app having more functionality than the mobile website. Yes, it's been suggested before. I'm just bringing it back from the dead and explaining that IT CAN WORK.

I know, my phone has it. But there is no mobile version of the site, so it takes a long time to load and it's so big you have to zoom in a lot to get to it. There's also a lot of things that might be buggy on certain phones. At least a mobile website that fits on a 2.5" screen.

Ugh. Don't be all android fanboy. Most people would love to have a way to do the website activities on their phone without long wait times and lots of unnecesarry scrolling and zooming. Most people have either a cheap no-contract phone or an iPhone. Seriously, just rate the idea, not about if it can be avoided by doing a certain thing.
