Hey kid, why don't YOU try scripting a new physics engine? You don't like it, add a breakjoints script to the bumper. This will break the joints of anything it touches, including cars, people, etc. That way you don't move back.

Apperently you didn't read my rather specific post just one page back. THIS ISN'T JUST ABOUT CARS BOUNCEING OFF PEOPLE! This is also about ROBLOX not even paying any mind to the game engine itself anymore. The last update for it was fire. The one before that was WedgeParts. But try thinking about the one before WedgeParts.
And no try to think of a ROBLOX update that removed major lag. That increased stabillity of ROBLOX. Remeber how long ago that was? Neither do I. All the admins do is sit around making hats. Not improving the game. And thats what we are trying to get done: Give the admins a wake-up call that tells them That thier game is going down the drain.
Also reffering to a few posts back: If the admins didn't want us to say crap they would have put a filter in the forum posts that blocked items containing that word like with the other words. |

Cobalt is right, we can't just rely on ourselves forever, eventually ROBLOX will have to improve the game itself otherwise it'll just die out.

Come to think of it ROBLOX has already died out. Just look at the front page [of games]. Remember a time when Heli wars was there? Well no there is only games with absolutly no effort put into them.
Once again Halo came out before ROBLOX. Halo can run on the same system requirements as ROBLOX. Halo has better physics and graphics than ROBLOX. That is truly sad. And take that from someone who is computer networking and hardware certified by Microsoft. Don't take it from the masses who signed up 2 weeks ago asking for more hats and trolling & flaming about ROBLOX is good enough when all they have is 5 hours of game time and 2 posts.. |

I completely support the idea and especially all the things cobalt10 has said. Roblox just doesn't really care much about the actual "game" anymore and are too busy making accessories for it. (Such as hats/gear)
I remember a post a while back commenting on the physics of roblox (including people stoping cars dead) and how much it's gotten worse over the years. Even builderman replied to it saying "We're listening guys, keep posting." and that was over half a year ago. Have they fixed it yet? No.
I really hope this post gets views and maybe the mods will finally pay attention. |

Hehe they kinda have to take notice my posts alone take up half the space on this page =P
Besides that hoopefully we can get this thread featured. The little star always grabs peoples attention. Then we can get more people to contribute to this idea then the mods and admins might feel guilty enough to finnaly DO SOMETHING.
Also the 'Word' isn't censored by ROBLOX so it doesn't matter if anyone sees it according to them but besides that point it's already been removed? |

Remember streetking the vehicle seat sin't all were pushing for. We are trying to push for an entire overhaul of the entire game engine itself because it's been to far neglected by the admins. The vehicle seat was kinda just an example of it =P
And for the past month that point has become ever increasingly more perssistant as more and more people are caught by unbareable lagspikes that never end. Some even wuitting ROBLOX compeltely from it.
Like I said before even I have quit playing games on ROBLOX untill the admins can fix the game becasue of the unbareable lag. And read my other posts about how I can play Crysis on all max settings with now lag.. I mean really that is truly sad. A game that should have the same requiremnts as Halo can't even be run on a machien made to run Crysis.. |

Same. I RARELY play games now. I lose connection every 10 minutes, when on other games I don't. They NEED to improve the GAMEPLAY, GAMEPLAY is WHY people COME HERE. No one really used to care about what hat you wore, unless you earned it. Even the community is failing. People flame and troll for fun, make inapproprite threads ALL the TIME, and it's getting too out of hand. It's almost too bad to fix. I'm sorry admins but, you're failing to do what you need to do.
P.S.
Have you noticed they've hired like 10 people for hat/gear creation? Sad... |

For all the people who just say "ogm...1 script it laz pepl" Why don't the mods do that? They surely aren't lazy enough to pump out hats at light speed. Do the math, there are 112 pages of hats.. about 15 hats per page.. 1,680 total? Is that enough? No! They have to keep making more. I can't even remember the last time they did something to update the physics and such.

Immobile humanoids and vehicles act like an anchored wall. If you are moving, you will bounce off. If you're both moving, you'll go into a physics nightmare and explode in a floppy passion of unfinished hinge physics. Before ROBLOX does anything else (Except switch to the latest OGRE, enable and patch reading and setting source, fix RocketPropultion, fix _G, and allow reading SuperSafeChat), they need to FIX THE HINGE PHYSICS. |
