The Ban Appeal System

I'd like to talk to you about a ban appeal system. I'll tell you the pros and cons here, and you can debate/discuss/whatever. I'll also describe what it will be like. So... I think we should have a little appeal system. If you get banned, you're basically SuperSafed and you can't enter or build places. You can still go on the site. You get a little page in My ROBLOX titled "Offences" and you can see all the things you did. You can see evidence and then appeal it, apologizing, trying to prove yourself innocent, or saying you were hacked. One time, I was banned, but [email protected] said I was still responsible, even though I WAS HACKED. I think we should appeal on THIS site without emails, and we shouldn't be responsible for their hacking. Think about it this way. If you were framed for a crime, would you still be responsible, even though everyone knows who the real person is who clearly framed you? PROS: --Fewer unfair bans --Better system, convenient --See ALL offences, not just the one taking effect CONS: --More work --Slower gear release Discuss.

If this was the case for mods to belive you were hacked, we would have little exploiters/spammers/noobs/scammers/WHAT EVER times 10 running around in little circles.

If you think your ban was unfair. Send ROBLOX a message at [email protected]. If they believe you, they'll reactivate your account, and maybe compensation.

this just wastes the mods time because most of the bans are just people complaining because they don't want to be off Roblox for a certain amount of time

Think about it this way. Roblox is like an educational site as well as a gaming site. Should we be taught that we don't get fair trials, and we can't get out of jail, even if we're clearly innocent? Do we have a right to speech in real life. Yes we do. Also, I clearly said ON the site so it's convenient to players. Besides, [email protected] will recieve lots fewer ban appeals.

There should be requirements to appeals. Such as, giving evidence, showing points to how you got banned, or just proper grammar must be used. Say.... An account was used only once on an IP address, and that one use got you banned. This person has a main account on roblox, you could ban IT? I think I have a good point. :3

this is still the worst idea ever a. it prevents moderators from doing actual work b. most of the bans would not be a successful appeal because the ban is valid c. [email protected] is more helpful
